The squirrel cage. It creates an illusion of time standing still. Hours, minutes and seconds slowing down to a halt, while the world outside is continuing at its usual pace. But you can’t see it, only fractions, like fragments of memories flashing in your head while you’re tossing and turning to sleep, to rest for the next day in the squirrel cage. Wasted time that comes around – and around again.

Wasting Time was produced entirely with a Yamaha Reface DX running through a Zoom MS-100BT pedal. Tracked, mixed and mastered in Logic Pro X.
